The competition is open to USA residents aged 18 and over who are legally entitled to enter a marriage or civil partnership. The competition is not open to employees of The Palmer House Stable or their immediate family members.

This competition is open to potential and existing booked couples. Should you have already booked the venue for your wedding, $2,500 will be refunded to you within 30 days of the winner’s announcement date.

By entering the competition, you agree to receive marketing and other communications from Palmer House Stable.

Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and have no cash value or equivalent. Only one entry is permitted per wedding party.

To qualify for entry into the competition, you must book and attend a tour before the closing date and follow Palmer House Stable on Instagram

Palmer House Stable reserves the right to amend these terms & conditions at any time without prior notice. Any amendments will be published on Palmer House Stable website and authorized social channels. You are advised to regularly check the website for any changes.

Drawing The Winner

Terms & Conditions

The winner will be drawn at random from all eligible entries in a supervised drawing at Palmer House Stable Solon, Iowa on Tuesday, January 20th at 2:00 PM CST and the winner will be contacted by phone as soon as possible thereafter.

If the winner:

a. Cannot be contacted or successful contact is not made within a reasonable time.

b. Fails to meet any of the eligibility requirements; or is otherwise unable to comply with these terms and conditions (or the event terms and conditions), it may result in forfeiture of the prize.

Palmer House Stable reserves the right to disqualify that entrant (without further liability to that entrant) and offer the prize to the next eligible entrant and thereafter until a winner is found.

The Prize

The prize is a wedding venue rental or cash equivalence of $2,500 on an available date at Palmer House Stable Solon Iowa between March 31, 2026 and December 31, 2026.

The value of the prize at the time of writing does vary dependent on day of the week/month/year by the winner and includes the following:

Only 1 Prize is Offered

The prize is valid for use from March 31, 2026 to December 31, 2026.

All bookings are subject to availability of specific dates and exclude the following dates:

January 1st, April 20th, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, December 24th, December 25th, December 31st.

The prize may be taken as cash and be used towards an alternate Palmer House Stable wedding package of a higher rate. Any additional costs and expenses incurred in planning, executing and attending the wedding will remain the responsibility of the winner.

The prize is non-transferable and the winner must be either a bride or groom in the wedding party. There is a cash alternative if used with another Palmer House Stable wedding package of a higher rental rate.

No purchase is necessary.

No travel or transport is included as part of the prize.

Booking

The Prize

The prize must be booked within 4 weeks of notification of the winner.

The procedure for booking the wedding is set out in the venue’s terms and conditions and includes sending a completed and signed Event Reservation Agreement to the:

The Booking will be subject to the usual terms and conditions applicable to our Rental Agreement

and a booking can only be accepted and a date confirmed on receipt of the signed Palmer House Stable Rental Agreement.

1. If the winner signs a Palmer House Stable Rental Agreement between the date of their tour and the date that they are notified that they are the winner, $2500 will be refunded.

2. If you have already toured The Palmer House Stable you will be required to contact us by email and give us an update on your planning and if you still have an interest in the Stable. We will then add your name to the drawing depending on your interest level.

3. If you are already booked with the Palmer House Stable and you are selected as a winner, the value of the prize will be refunded to you within 30 days
